Dr. Ukjese Van Kampen will be the next Long Ago Yukon SKYPE lecturer. He will speak at 1 p.m at the Beringia Centre on Saturday, January 14th. His topic will be "History of Yukon First Nations Art". Background Dr. Van Kampen holds a doctorate in the history of Yukon’s First Nations art. He is of Tutchone/Scottish heritage, born in Whitehorse, Yukon. He is a member of Kwanlin Dun First Nation and belongs to the Wolf Clan. His own art works have been featured in exhibits around the world from Munich and Seattle to Ottawa and Sydney, Australia.
